Todays walk in detail

It was with great relief ( on my part) that we actually had Nine members to set off with, from Cutthroat Bridge. We welcomed Martin Clay, our newest member. The mist and heavy rain lasted for most of the morning on Stanage Edge. We then paddled through big puddles and splashed all the way downhill through a constant stream of running water. At around midday, the bad weather moved away and we could start to enjoy the lovely views. 
 The highlight of the walk was Bamford Edge, where there was a great atmosphere. Thankyou to the people who turned out in spite of the bad weather forecast.
