22 of us left Langsett Barn Car Park and crossed the first of the three reservoirs. After walking through a small wood we headed towards Underbank Reservoir taking in lovely views along the way. The larches looked stunning. At the end we came to the small village of Midhopestones. A path behind the village took us to Midhope Reservoir where the trees had been felled and replaced by saplings. This meant that we had a magnificent view of the water, hills and moors while eating our lunch. The day was rounded off by a visit the Wortley Men’s Club, where we were made to feel welcome. Thankyou to all who came and Thankyou to John for offering to be the back marker.
