Todays walk in detail

Twenty three walkers and one dog met outside the cemetery at the top of Flash Lane Bramley. We walked down the lane passing Slacks Pond to meet our first muddy path up the field. We went over the Motorway to cross Cumwell Lane into another very wet and muddy field. We walked over Thurcroft old pit site (more mud!) to have a break by some rocks. We then walked down a horse field to Carr. Over more muddy fields to Hellaby and back to the car park by following a path through trees adjacent to the M18. Refreshments were taken at The Sir Jack public house. We welcomed John on his first walk with us. Thank you to all who turned out for this 5.4 mile very muddy walk. Hope you’ve all managed to get your boots clean!
