After welcoming 3 new first time Sunday walkers, on a slightly cooler morning than of late, 17 walkers started from Youlgreave car park dropping down to Bradford Dale and following the river to Allport. Crossing the road we carried on over fields to Conksbury Bridge where we entered Lathkill Dale following the River Lathkill up the Dale. A break was taken on the banks of the river. As we continued the rain started . One member decided to take the shorter walk up Cales Dale back to her car. We continued on out of the Dale passing One Ashgrange Farm. The last few miles were over pleasant farmland back to Youlgreave. Refreshments were taken at The Farmyard Inn (not The Cricket Inn as I mistakenly told a few people).
