Todays walk in detail

Fifteen walkers set off from Topley Pike in dry but dull weather, we crossed Chelmorton Low which was muddy and lumpy, we touched on the edge of Chelmorton and proceeded towards Fivewells farm stopping at the highest point at 11:00am to honour Remembrance Day. After a brief stop near the farm for refreshments we crossed Taddington Moor in low cloud, this cleared as we went down to Taddington where we had lunch in the church grounds admiring their Remembrance Day decorations. Priestcliffe was the next target via Rock Lodge Farm then on to Blackwell and the finish. Thank you to everyone and we hope to get the chance to Chee Dale in 2026.
