Todays walk in detail

There were 31 walkers for today's ramble starting and finishing at The Parish Oven in Thorpe Salvin. It was a cool start under grey skies, but soon warmed up as we made our way out of the village and down the fields and woods to the Chesterfield Canal. Along the canal before making our way to Woodsetts, crossing Lindrick Golf Course and the busy A57. Refreshments were taken by the side of the fairway before, again, crossing under A57 and making our way was back across the golf course and to the canal. Crossing the canal, through Spring Woods and back to the village. A lovely scenic walk, relatively flat with ideal weather.
