Todays walk in detail

29 walkers and a dog set off from Marina Drive Shireoaks and after a brief pause for a boot malfunction, we entered Rhodesia where there was a blacksmith's forge named after the walk leader. Elevenses were taken on a raised grass bank enabling older members to get up without rolling over. The walk returned via Shireoaks Hall and refreshments  were provided by the excellent Leeds Arms in South Anston. Welcome to newcomers John, Jacquie and Michael. Also to Gwyneth on her return.
