Todays walk in detail

24 members of the walking group plus one dog set out from Saint James church in Ravenfield on a day when showers were threatened but never really materialised. Conditions underfoot were very good, particularly as the path around Thrybergh Country Park has recently been resurfaced. A short comfort break was taken at the cafe where numerous swans had gathered on the water. The coffee break was taken next to the church before the group moved on to the circular route around Ravenfield ponds. As ever this was a place of peace and tranquillity. Then it was back to the starting point and refreshments were taken at the "Grazing Harts” in Micklebring. Many thanks for coming on the walk and making it such an enjoyable experience.
