Todays walk in detail

Our group of 23 and 3 dogs set off from the park, crossing the road into Warren Vale woods, over the Roman bank and Colliers brook. After passing through a couple of fields we reached Wath golf course, which we quickly and safely crossed. Then onto Wath woods, pity that the bluebells we saw on our recce are now fading. Reaching pottery ponds and the old kiln (where the famous Rockingham pottery was once produced) we took a short break. Now, the tricky bit, a couple of carefully managed busy road crossings and into Creighton Woods. The final road crossing and field paths took us back, via an underpass, to the car park. The Marquis, just a five minute drive away, was our cosen pub stop.
