Todays walk in detail

Thanks to the 27 ramblers and 3 dogs that accompanied me on the Aston/Ulley circular walk as part of the Aston Walking Festival. Leaving Burgoyne Park I decided to do the walk in reverse, so we set off down Aughton Lane, took a left down Piper Lane and admired the beautiful views at the top. Over the fields to Ulley Church, where refreshments were taken, including some lovely brownies and florentines courtesy of Gareth. After a short break, we continued downhill, through Ulley Woods  to Ulley Reservoir. A moment was taken to admire the wildlife, before continuing our return journey over the newly constructed bridge and the final hill to Burgoyne Park. Further refreshments were taken @ The Robin Hood in Aughton. Many thanks to Dave C for back marking. I hope everyone enjoyed the walk as much as I did!
