Todays walk in detail

On a beautiful Thursday morning 35 walkers and 3 dogs set out from Hellaby community center. This was also part of the Hellaby walking festival so we welcomed some new walkers who joined us. We headed over the fields from Hellaby and up into Carr, we then headed out to the old Thurcroft pit site where we also stopped for refreshments, once again we were treated to some fine homemade biscuits and flap jack. We then headed towards Bramley and skirted Wickersley wood before making our way back to Hellaby. After the walk we'll earned refreshments were taken at The Stockyard pub. Thankyou to everyone who attended .
