Wickersley Walking Festival, Wickersley/Whiston circular.

David Craddock Carried out the recce for the Festival Walk this Thursday . Good job I did, I have had to make some alteration due to the footbridge accessing the woods being shut for rebuilding. The diversion is only slight with about 200 metres more Road walking but still about 5 miles in length. There was no mud 😁. Relatively easy walk with only a slow elevation from Pinchmill back up to Wickersley for about 10 minutes. Please note that the walk starts in the Winthrop Gardens car park 50 metre’s further down the Lane which is limited in size. Please try to car share if possible. We will be using the block parking system with people not going for a drink and a bite to eat having exit privileges. Anna Chester will be available to take your orders before we start the walk.
